GARDAI SEARCHING WICKLOW LANDFILL IN RELATION TO THE MURDER OF KENNETH O'BRIEN
Gardai were carrying out searches at a landfill site in Co. Wicklow this morning in connection to the murder of Kenneth O'Brien.
Kenneth O'Brien's dismembered torso was found dumped in a suitcase in the Grand Canal at Ardclough in Kildare on January 16th. Other body parts belonging to Mr. O'Brien were found in the days that followed in the Grand Canal at Sallins and the Royal Canal in Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
Gardai were searching the dump at Ballynagran, just off the M11, west of Wicklow Town at around 9am this morning (Feb 9th). It is believed that Gardai suspect parts of Kenneth O'Brien's body may be hidden at the site.
The search comes just a day after 2 arrests were made in Dublin in connection to the murder.
