Enterprise Town returns to Wicklow in 2016
Bank of Ireland has announced the return of its Enterprise Town initiative to Wicklow on Friday 1st April from 5pm -8pm and Saturday 2nd April from 11am -2pm.
Taking place in Coláiste Chill Mhantáin the event features a Business, Community and Sports Expo as well as plenty of family friendly activity throughout the day. The Bank of Ireland Enterprise Town event has been organised by the Bank in partnership with the local community in Wicklow. The initiative aims to promote enterprise and drive business momentum for local businesses and the wider sports and social community in the locality by connecting residents with all the town has to offer. Events are free to attend and are open to both customers and non-customers of Bank of Ireland.
Over the course of the two days 90 exhibitors will display a wide variety of products and services. The event will also include keynote talks on Friday at 5.05pm from leading entrepreneur and business man, Gavin Duffy alongside a Business Panel discussion featuring Reva O'Malley, Black Castle Soft Drinks, Lee Williams, Wicklow Brewery and Louise Fleming, Local Enterprise Office Wicklow.
A Sports Panel discussion will also take place on Saturday the 2nd of April from 12.30 to 1.30 pm and will feature a selection of local sporting heroes including Leighton Glynn Wicklow Intercounty footballer and Compromise Rules International and Fiona O'Brien Irish Women's Rugby International.
With something for everyone, a community and sports exhibition will take place on the Saturday featuring 25 of the local clubs such as Wicklow Swimming Club, Anyone 4 Science, Wicklow Tennis Club, St Patricks GAA Club, Wicklow Rugby Football Club, and South East Road Cycling Club. Events taking place over the two days include Face Painting, Coder Dojo, Minis Exhibition GAA Match, Rugby Club underage open training session and a Latin & Irish Dance demonstration.
